Euvista Capital SLU is a holding company making private equity investments in small and medium size companies in the Middle East. Founded in 2007, our investment interest falls in a variety of sectors with particular focus on the real estate market.
Euvista Capital is a financial investor that seeks representation on the Board of the companies it invests in but does not get involved in the operation or management of its investments.
Our investment preference is in the equity of operating entities with very limited participation in debt or preferred shares. We do not take majority equity stakes but prefer to stay in the 15-20% equity participation level with proportionate voting rights. Rafael Bello is the Managing and Founding Partner of Euvista Capital since 2007. Prior to his current responsibilities, Rafael spent over 20 years in the investments and international banking sectors at different international institutions including Morgan Stanley, Citigroup and The Bank of Nova Scotia. His corporate activity was focused on the commercial banking sector in Latin America, the United States, Canada and more recently the European and Middle Eastern markets. Besides the banking sector, his areas of specialization include the insurance, asset management, and real estate industries. Rafael received a bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering from Monterrey Tech (ITESM) in Monterrey, Mexico and an M.B.A.-Finance from Columbia University in New York.
